Industrial maintenance lab ribbon cutting

We celebrated the opening of the industrial maintenance lab at the Jackson County Learning Center in Seymour. This achievement is a result of a partnership between Vincennes University, JCIDC, Jackson County Education Coalition and the Community Foundation of Jackson County. We are grateful for the support of Seymour Redevelopment Commission, Aisin, Cummins Seymour Engine Plant and Valeo, which provided matching financial support through the READI grant.

This facility is a critical addition to our community, providing classes for those looking to develop skills and pursue career opportunities in the industrial maintenance field. Basic electrical and mechanical classes are beginning with more to follow in the future. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact the Jackson County Learning Center will have on our community for years to come.
